PURPOSE IN LIFE/ MISSION STATEMENT The power of WHY?

Why it is so important to know your why? Because when you don’t know your why, you are acting choosing or moving in one direction or another, there is no passion, reason, or purpose in your life! You often feel stuck, you procrastinate, and you get cluttered in your mind. You are running away from what you don’t want... and you get more of it. On the contrary, when you do know your why, you are being pulled towards your goals by inspiration. You are in a flow. (“Where your thoughts go, your energy flows!”) You are taking action because it feels right.

I’m a great believer in staying strong, fearless, and positive in life, especially because we live in challenging times. “Don’t feel pressure, for pressure is what turns rough stones into diamonds”, Mr Gerry, my diamond mentor told me on several occasions.

I’ve been reading and researching a lot in order to get answers and clarity in life. Bad things happen to us to make us realise our true potential, strength, will power, and heart, and to help us appreciate some amazing things that are otherwise taken for granted. Life is a true gift. “Nothing in life is to be feared; it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more so that we may fear less.”, Marie Skłodowska Curie, a Polish Nobel prize winner, used to say.

"We are powerful beyond belief. If we only realised it...", says Kasia Nalepa, Amazon #1 International Bestselling Author.

The whole month of February 2014 I spent creating my mission statement and focusing on my purpose in life. Why it is so important to do that? Because without a mission for your life, you will probably just wander through life like Alice wandered through Wonderland, uncertain of your purpose. After you have your mission, decisions become much clearer. Your mission is an internal process and needs to come from the core of who you are. A personal mission statement is a written-down reason for being and the key to finding your path in life.

I adjusted and personalised this amazing formula of Edgar Cayce and will describe it in the next 3 consecutive blog posts.
